Connection Process

Get connected and grow closer to God through Bethany’s ministries for adults, children, and students – inviting, equipping, caring and serving in our congregation, community and world.

  • Connection Point - Come to the Connection Point desk in the lobby just outside of the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Volunteers staff the desk and are ready to answer your questions about Bethany.
  • Inquiry Class - The Inquiry Class meets on 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM in the Ministry Center. Enjoy a brief informal orientation, video and campus tour. Complimentary Coffee and donuts provided. (more information)
  • Volunteer Connections - The table is staffed on 2nd and 4th Sundays from 9:15 AM to Noon in the Ministry Center. Explore the many opportunities for serving in the church and out in the community with a Bethany Connection Consultant.
  • Connection Celebration - Meet and fellowship with the pastors, key ministry staff and volunteers and find out how to get connected at Bethany. Those wishing to become Bethany members may participate in a brief membership ceremony.  Meets in the chapel and Ministry Center. Contact Amy Cannon to register and to reserve childcare at 258-6017 or amy.cannon@bethany-umc.org.
  • WAYPOINTS: A Discipleship Pathway Leading People to Experience God’s Love, Know Jesus Christ, and Grow in His Image - We are excited to offer this Discipleship Pathway to a lifelong engagement with God and Jesus Christ. The pathway of discipleship is a process by which we look to Jesus that we might become more like Him. The Waypoints are coordinates along the pathway to guide your steps as you grow toward Christian maturity.  Pick up a brochure at the Connection Point.
