God's Little Answers
When my daughter, Emily, was a baby she had night terrors, she never did sleep all night until she was about 4 years old. When my son, Zachary, was born, Emily was only about a year and a half old, and, as I mentioned, not sleeping all night. I was determined that I would be the one to get up for them, as I have two grown children and therefore did not want to miss one single opportunity to rock the babies. This began to take a toll on me after a while, because once I got one child to sleep, the other would wake up. One night I was sitting in my big rocking chair, holding both babies, and tears just streaming down my face, I was so exhausted, I prayed to God, and and said, "Dear Lord, please help for one of them to start sleeping all night, I think I am going to die." I prayed this in all sincerity, however, did not really expect results. The very next night Zachary started sleeping all night, and has every since then. To me, THAT IS A GOD THING. Sometimes I think we don't notice all of the GOD THINGS that happen to us, so I like to share this story. Praise be to God.
