 reCONNECT Frequently Asked Questions

What is reCONNECT?
reCONNECT is a holistic approach to stewardship which considers how we honor God with all that we are and have.  reCONNECT focuses on our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

When does reCONNECT start?
Workbook readings begin the week of September 11.  reCONNECT in worship starts the weekend of September 17/18.
How do I sign up for a small group?
In the ministry center August 21, August 27/28, September 3/4; or contact Frank Jacks, Jr. at 258-6017.
When do the small groups meet?
There are small groups that meet in homes, as well as groups that meet at the church.  There are daytime and evening groups.  Groups start meeting the week of September 17/18 and meet weekly through the week of October 22/23.
Do I have to participate in a small group in order to get a workbook?
No.  While we encourage you to participate in a small group, the workbook is designed for individual/family use as well.
How do I get a workbook?
The workbooks will be available in the ministry center August 21, August 27/28, and September 3/4.  They will also be available in the church office during the week.  The workbook will be available (by September 1) as a PDF online.
How much do the workbooks cost?
They are provided at no cost to you.
What’s the catch?  No catch!
We truly believe that the Holy Spirit will work through your participation in reCONNECT, at whatever level works for you.  The goal of reCONNECT is to encourage all of us to reCONNECT with God, with one another, and with God’s world.  God longs to be connected to us and this is one way we can respond as individuals and as a community.
