Randy Sisk, Trudy Marshall, and the De Harts will share about their mission trip to Uganda, Africa with Libraries of Love. Come hear first hand witness about this wonderful ministry which is supported by Bethany's Children's Ministries Missions each year!
Book Collection
November 1 - 30

Bethany Children’s Mission is collecting new or gently used hardback and paperback books for beginning readers—grade 12. The books are donated to Libraries of Love, a local charity that establishes libraries in poverty stricken Ugandan schools.

Our goal is to collect over 1000 books! Bring new or gently used books to your Sunday school class or drop them in the marked bins throughout the building.

Proceeds will provide lunches to children at these schools, who are often too distracted by hunger to concentrate on studies.

We are asking K-5th graders help sell at the tables, so please contact Sara Solomon at (solozone@austin.rr.com or 258-6650) with the time you would like to help. Shifts are:

  • 9:00 - 9:30 AM
  • 10:25 - 11:00 AM

  • Noon - 12:15 PM

Also, please let Sara know if you can bring a baked good.
