Who are the Acolytes?
- All 5th Graders at Bethany are welcome and invited to acolyte. They serve from the September of their 5th Grade school year through September of their 6th Grade school year.
How are acolytes trained in their role as worship leader?
- Initial trainings for acolytes and their parents occur in the month of August before Acolytes begin to serve at the end of September. Additional trainings are held each month at brunch throughout the year.
Which worship services do Acolytes serve in?
- Acolytes take turns serving during each of Bethany’s worship services, both contemporary and traditional, as well as special services that occur during the Advent season in December and at Easter in the spring.
